The best way to treat a stroke is for people to learn what to recognize using FAST:
F —facial numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
A —arm numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
S —slurred speech or difficulty speaking.
T —time to call 911.
Basketball player recovering after surgery to remove brain aneurysm
Amber Gray underwent left shoulder surgery July 2 at St. Mary's Medical Center to repair her posterior capsule and labrum. Nobody knew at the time that the procedure essentially would save the University of Tennessee women's basketball player's life.
