The best way to treat a stroke is for people to learn what to recognize using FAST:
F — facial numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
A — arm numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
S — slurred speech or difficulty speaking.
T — time to call 911.

The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Stroke Team
The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Stroke Team includes stroke neurologists, neurovascular surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, and neuroradiologists backed by a team of researchers and clinical and technical support staff. Based at the University of Cincinnati and University Hospital, the Stroke Team serves as a community resource to all Greater Cincinnati hospitals, while managing the stroke treatment program at University Hospital.
