The best way to treat a stroke is for people to learn what to recognize using FAST:
F — facial numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
A — arm numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
S — slurred speech or difficulty speaking.
T — time to call 911.
If you are attending a support group meeting for the first time, we recommend that you call ahead to confirm that no changes in the schedule have been made.
If you would like to have your support group added to this list, please contact Christa McAlpin at (513) 569.5251 or with the contact name, phone number, time, and meeting place of the group.
